Do you like to sing? If the answer is yes, you should audition for the Deerfield Reme-ds! Reme-ds is a co-ed a capella group open to anyone on campus who has a knack for singing. Auditions will be held on Sunday, September 11, at 7 pm (right after sit-down dinner) in Hess B131.
Audition requirements: prepare a chorus and a verse of a song you feel comfortable singing. In addition, be prepared to sing happy birthday (and possibly match pitch). Ninth and tenth graders will be allowed to audition closer to the beginning to get them back to their dorms in time for Study Hall.
Reme-ds meets twice weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays right after sit-down and at 6:45 pm, respectively (possibly subject to change). We have performed on various occasions such as school meetings, Christmas concerts, and even revisit days! To perform at our very best, we heavily encourage the importance of attendance. Members are expected to attend at least one meeting a week, but the attendance at both meetings is encouraged.
