Stress Less Week is an Active Minds at Deerfield tradition where we host events surrounding well-being during the week before finals. We know the last two weeks of the term can get busy, so hopefully, our activities can take your mind off things! Here’s a brief overview:
MON Apple Cider Stand (2:50 – 3:40 pm, Hess Lawn)
Stop by the Hess Lawn after class to enjoy some apple cider perfect for the fall.
MON Journal with Us (6:45 pm, Hess 123)
A quick club meeting to journal at the start of the week!
TUES Gratitude Board with Raffle (10 am, Koch)
Take a moment to reflect on what you’re grateful for and write it down on a sticky note. If you’d like, you can put your name down and that will enter you into a raffle for a Happiness Project Hoodie!
WED Day off for games
THURS Move in the Morning (7 am, Gym)
Collab w/ Girls Gains @ DA
An event open to any member of the community regardless of gym experience! Join us for some quick exercises or workouts before the day begins.
FRI Puzzles and Presents (10 am, Dining Hall)
Collab w/ Deerfield Puzzles Club
Stop by our booth in the Dhall to work on puzzles and pick up self-care gifts!
SAT Day off for Choate Day!
SUN Morning Yoga (9 – 10 am, Studio 1 next to the volleyball court)
A light yoga class suitable for beginners and a perfect way to start a Sunday morning. Open to anyone in the community!
