On Campus Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic – Thursday, May 6

We are excited to offer an on-campus vaccine clinic next week for any student age 18 or older who has not yet received a vaccine.

On Thursday, May 6, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, we will be offering the one-shot Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) Covid-19 vaccine. Two weeks after receiving this one-dose vaccine, you will be considered fully vaccinated according to the CDC.

To find more information about this vaccine, you can review the FDA fact sheet, the CDC’s discussion of the recent pause and thorough safety review, or this discussion and video by the American Medical Association. We also look forward to offering an optional webinar about Covid-19 vaccines with Dr. Laura Blaisdell on Wednesday, May 5 at 2pm. Please use this link to join the webinar  (Passcode: 590610).  Questions may be submitted ahead of the webinar by clicking here. A recording will be made available shortly afterward. If you have any specific questions related to your health or whether or not you should receive the vaccine, please reach out to your primary care provider to discuss.

To register for this clinic, please fill out this form ASAP.

By Thursday morning, you will be assigned to a time slot to receive the vaccine. If you are assigned a time that conflicts with class time, you will be excused from class for the brief time it will take to receive your vaccine.
