Academy Funding for PEN America’s Summer 2021 Free Speech Advocacy Institute

PEN America’s summer 2021 Free Speech Advocacy Institute is a two-week online educational and training program where high school and college students can learn the theories, laws, histories, and methodologies behind free expression advocacy.

The Academy is interested in covering tuition costs for a select number of our students who are admitted to, and choose to attend, the program. After submitting an admissions application to the program, please fill out this funding application to be considered (note: you may submit your admissions application and funding application concurrently, you need not wait for an admissions decision before applying for Academy funding).
