A few months ago we sent a shipment of incorrectly decorated sweatshirts to Refried. The original vendor had remade the sweatshirts after the mistake and told us we could keep the originals. We’ve been holding onto these sweatshirts while we tried to figure out what to do with them. Refried used the fabric and decoration from those sweatshirts, enhanced with other material they’ve rescued from landfills and incinerators. The result is new pillows, totebags, cinchbags, zippered pouches, scarves with pockets and hair scrunchies. They’ve turned “fashion waste into fashion forward” with unique and useful products.
