Special Schedule on October 13 and Study Hall on October 12

On Wednesday, October 13, we will follow a Special Schedule. We will also have a modified Study Hall the evening of Tuesday, October 12 to prepare for October 13’s activities.

Special Schedule on Wednesday, October 13:
• No classes will meet on this day
• Students will follow grade-specific programming as outlined below; please note that all students are expected to be at their grade-specific location on this day

Grade 9
• Will participate in CSGC programming from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM off campus;
• 9th graders should be at the front of the Main School Building (Driveway Loop) by 8:30 AM
• 9th graders should watch for an email from Ms. Brown with more details

Grade 10 (and Juniors who opted NOT to take the PSAT)
• Will participate in the StrengthsExplorer workshop with facilitators from Innate Force Coaching & Consulting from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM in the Hess Center Auditorium
• 10th graders (and 11th graders who opted NOT to take the PSAT) received an email from College Advising on 9/21 about pre-workshop homework

Grade 11 (and some 10th graders who opted in to take the PSAT)
• PSAT testing from 8:00 AM-12noon in the East and West Gyms in the Athletic Center
• Juniors (and some 10th graders who opted in to take the PSAT) should watch for an email from Ms. Dawicki with more details

Grade 12
• Will participate in an Application and Essay Workshop with their college advisor from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM in the Koch Center Garonzik Auditorium and Koch Center classrooms
• Seniors should be at the Garonzik by 9:00 AM

Lunch
• Walk-through Lunch will be available from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM. Students who finish their programming at 11:30 should go directly to lunch

Cocurriculars
• We will follow a normal co-curricular schedule

Study Hall Expectations for Tuesday, October 12:
Grade 9
• Attend CSGC Programming from 7:45-8:45 PM in the Kendall Small Auditorium (REQUIRED); 8:45-9:45 PM quiet hours on your floor with lights out at 10:30 PM

Grade 10 (and Juniors who opted not to take the PSAT)
• Complete pre-workshop homework
• Curfew for 10th graders: 7:45 PM; curfew for 11th graders: 9:45 PM

Grade 11 (and some 10th graders who opted in to take the PSAT)
• Study for the PSAT; suggested lights out for 8:00 AM test: 10:30 PM
• Curfew for 11th graders: 9:45 PM; curfew for 10th graders: 7:45 PM

Grade 12
• Develop essay ideas for Application Essay Workshop
• Curfew for 12th graders: 9:45 PM
