Service Opportunity – Salvation Army Breakfast Prep

The Salvation Army serves a free hot breakfast in Greenfield, Monday through Friday. In the past, Deerfield students have volunteered to help with breakfast prep, and thanks to Mr. Flaska, who has volunteered his time to chaperone, we are bringing back this opportunity on Thursday mornings. Students will leave from the MSB at 6:45 am to prep breakfast from 7:00 – 7:50 am, and will be back on campus by 8:00 AM, in plenty of time to get to their first class. Up to five students can volunteer each week. Sign up to do it once, or make a weekly commitment, whatever best suits you. You must sign up by noon on Monday in order to attend that Thursday.

Please note that students must wear masks at all times, along with closed toe shoes and shirts with sleeves. Reach out to Ms. Hutchinson or Mr. Flaska with any questions.
