AMC Math Competition

On Thursday, February 4, and again on Wednesday, February 10, the American Math Competition (AMC) will take place here on campus. What is it? It’s a multiple-choice, paper examination with 25 very interesting problems, open to anyone in grades 9-12! All the details are on the signup form.

Please email me, Mr. Reid or the Math Club captains Angela Cui and Jerry Yuan with any questions.

The top scorers are invited to the American Invitational Math Exam, whose top scorers are invited to the USA Math Olympiad, which is used to choose the US team at the International Math Olympiad. But you can have a good time with the AMC without having any ambitions beyond it.
