This Friday, September 18, is the deadline for private music lesson registration! Lessons begin next week beginning September 21. They take place weekly for 45 minutes during a student’s free block or after school. Teachers will contact students to arrange their lesson time. There will be 8 lessons per term. All levels of ability are welcome to sign up for lessons! We offer instruction on all band and orchestral instruments, piano, guitar, drum set, organ, and voice. Due to safety restrictions related to Covid-19, at the start of the Fall Term all private lessons will need to happen remotely from the students’ dorm room, with the exception of piano and drum set. Day students may take their lessons remotely from home. Initially, personal practice will also be limited to student dorm rooms, with the exception of piano and drum set. At the start of the Fall Term, students should keep their instruments in their rooms rather than using the lockers in the Hess Center.
