Think the presidential race is the only thing on the ballot this year? Wrong! Most elections include local races and voting for area laws and ordinances. Your vote has extreme impact to your specific state, town and neighborhood. Let’s talk about three laws up for a vote – Massachusetts (ranked voting), California (voting in primaries at 17 years old) and Mississippi (vote on the new state flag), and then we will do a mock vote to see which referendums pass…..or not. Snacks provided at the end!
