Volleyball Secures Two Road Wins and Water Polo Splits Saturday Results

On Saturday, the varsity volleyball team traveled to Buckingham Browne & Nichols to face off against the home side BB&N and Sacred Heart in two class A contests. The Big Green emerged with two victories, defeating both sides.

The boys varsity water polo team were also on the road at Westminster where they battled Westminster and Andover. The Big Green fell to Andover by a goal in their opening game then rallied in their second game against Westminster to capture the win.

Also on the road at Brunswick, the boys varsity and JV soccer teams traveled to Greenwich, CT to kick-off against the Bruins. The boys varsity soccer team game ended in a 4-4 tie while the boys JV soccer game remained scoreless at the final whistle to earn a 0-0 tie.

At home, the girls JV soccer team remained undefeated to start the season with a 3-2 win over Brattleboro. The girls thirds soccer team also remained undefeated with their victory. The girls thirds volleyball team defeated Stoneleigh Burnham to continue their winning ways to start the season.

At Suffield, the varsity football team fell to the Tigers 7-14.

The boys Jr. B soccer team shutout Westminster in their 6-0 win. At Taft, the boys Jr. A soccer team lost a close 1-0 game to the Rhinos.

The varsity field hockey battled hard against Hotchkiss in their first loss of the season.

The girls varsity soccer team collected a 1-0 victory.
