A team of Deerfield Academy cyclists participated in the 2019 Pan-Mass Challenge this past weekend, riding over 200 miles over two days. Together, the team raised over $50,000 to support cancer research at Dana Farber. The team consisted of alumni, employees, parents and friends including Christian Day, Tim McVaugh, Toby Emerson, Jeff Galli, Bob Graves, Chip Davis, Guy Ardrey, Ned and Adam Philie, Steve Murray, John Flynn, and Tom Davis. Additional riders included Andrew and Liza Carey, and Parker Lawlor, with a special appearance by former Associate Head of School for Alumni Affairs and Development David Pond.
Special thanks for John Landino P’20, who designed and donated the Team Deerfield uniforms!
