Swimmers Earn All-American Recognition

On June 22, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) announced the  2022-23 NISCA Swimming and Diving All Americans. The Big Green 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay teams from this year’s 2023 New England Championship earned All-American honors this season. The teams included: Levi Tipton ’24, Daniel Wareham ’24, Giulio Migliarina ’25, Will Hill ’24, Vedran Gjivoje ’24, and Totten Heffelfinger ’23.

“The National Interscholastic Coaches Award (NISCA) All-America team recognition is the pinnacle of achievement in high school swimming, diving, and water polo.”  All-American status is an incredibly exclusive group; only the best 100 swimmers across the nation in each event earn this honor.  The official list of this year’s All-Americans can be viewed here.

Congratulations to these Big Green swimmers on achieving All-American status!

This season, the Big Green boys swimming and diving team captured second place at the 2023 New England Championships hosted by Andover Academy.
