On Saturday, all four of the Big Green lacrosse teams traveled to Wallingford, CT to battle the rival Wild Boars. Deerfield emerged victorious over the home-side securing all four wins for the Doors.
The boys varsity and JV lacrosse teams each faced-off in the early games. The boys JV team secured a 9-3 win and the boys varsity team scored twice as many goals as the Boars to earn a 14-7 victory to record their fourth consecutive victory.
In the later games, the girls JV lacrosse team secured a commanding 13-1 victory and the girls varsity lacrosse team also doubled the scoring of the home-side to come away with a 14-7 win to earn their first victory of the season!
The Big Green lacrosse teams will return to action this Wednesday, April 16 at home. The girls varsity and JV lacrosse teams will both face-off against neighboring NMH. The boys varsity lacrosse team will host Trinity-Pawling and the boys JV lacrosse team will battle Longmeadow High School.
