The Big Green varsity golf team remains undefeated through seven matches this season.
The team returned to action and began their 2021 campaign on April 23 at home course Crumpin Fox against neighboring Williston. The Big Green sealed their first victory with a decisive 206-253 win.
Next up on the schedule was an away contest vs. the Big Blue of Andover. Again, the Big Green earned the win with a 6.5-2.5 win.
With a few days of practice in between matches, the Big Green continued their schedule of away matches, traveling to Belmont Hill to defeat the home side 6.5-5.5. The Doors concluded their road series and their April schedule at Berkshire on April 30, earning their fourth consecutive win by a score of 7-2.
The Big Green returned home to the Crumpin Fox course to play the Berkshire in their second meeting with the Bears this season and won, 8.5-0.5.
Continuing their slate of May games, the Big Green faced off against Andover and NMH in their first and only tri-match of the season. The swinging Doors, defeated both opponents with a low score of 398 (Andover 420 and NMH 457).
In their most recent game, the Big Green hosted Loomis Chaffee and were victorious by a score of 9-0.
The Doors will face off against Loomis again on Saturday, May 15 at Loomis’ home course and close out their season on the road at Taft on May 19.
