Girls Water Polo Postseason Starts Today

Girls water polo is playoff bound!  Last Saturday, the girls varsity water polo team earned two back-to-back wins in a tri-meet at Andover to secure the 4th seed in the final New England Prep School rankings which earned them a berth into the playoffs and home pool advantage in the first round.  At Saturday’s tri-meet, the Big Green defeated Hopkins 7-6 and a couple of hours later they defeated Andover 6-4.

So far this season, the Big Green have amassed a 10-4-0 season record with a three-game winning streak carrying them into the post-season.

Today, May 16th the Big Green will host the 5th seeded Big Blue of Andover in the first-round play-in game.  This is the third meeting between the Big Green and Big Blue this season.  The score is deadlocked, 1-1, as the Big Blue won the April match up by a goal, 10-9, and the Big Green were victorious on Saturday, 6-4.

Come out today to support the BIG GREEN as they look to advance to the New England Semifinals!
