Girls Tennis Qualifies for the New England Tournament

As announced this morning, the girls varsity tennis team (7-3-0) qualified for the New England Tennis Championship Tournament. The No. 7 seeded Big Green will travel to Lakeville, CT this Saturday, May 19 to face off against the No. 2 seed, Hotchkiss in the opening quarterfinal match.

In the other quarterfinal, No. 3 Nobles will face No. 6 Exeter. The quarterfinal winners will meet in the semifinals match on Saturday at 3:00pm.

The semifinal winners will meet in the championship at the Magic Lincer Tennis Club in Windsor, CT on Sunday, May 20 at 11:00am. If the weather allows, the championship game will be moved to Westminster.

The veteran squad enters the post-season on a three-game winning streak and will look to avenge their April loss to the Bearcats.
