Girls Basketball Maintains Lead for the Win

On Wednesday, the Big Green girls varsity basketball team enjoyed a win on the road at Williston-Northampton School, 48-39.

Deerfield held the lead the entire game despite, Williston making tenacious attempts to gain the go-ahead bucket. Ultimately, making it a closely contested game between the two teams.

Ninth grader Aoife Bruce had an outstanding game for Deerfield, netting 10 points, running the floor hard in transition, and playing persistent defense. Senior captain Emma Reavis also put up impressive stats due to her unrelenting effort; she scored 16 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists.

The Big Green return to their home court tomorrow against Andover in a 2:30pm tip-off. The game will be available for viewing on livestream.
