Deerfield varsity boys and girls divers welcomed rival Choate Rosemary Hall to Koch Pool on Saturday for their lone head-to-head meet against the Wild Boars this season.
The Big Green divers topped the podium at the meet, collecting big points for their teams along the way.
In the boys competition, Teddy McCarthy ’20, Harry Niles ’21 and Mark Chung ’21 each scored points. Teddy paced the competition earning first place with a score of 268.05, he was followed in second place by teammate Harry Niles with a score of 182.95. Mark Chung finished the meet in 5th place with a score of 123.35. Collectively, the Big Green divers amassed 11 points towards the total on the day.
The girls diving competition was also led by the Big Green divers. Sydney Bluestein ’21 was the highest scorer (236.20) in the meet to capture first place. Teammate Lauren Mitchell ’22 closely followed in second place with a score of 175.75 and Morgan Clough ’20 finished in 6th place with a score of 164.95. The Big Green girl divers earned ten points towards their team total.
