Seniors Julian O’Donnell and Ossie Heard led the way for the Big Green on the boys side, both finishing in the top ten. Teddy McCarthy ’20 followed in Ossie’s footsteps and also bested his 2017 championship performance by two spots to finish this year on the podium in the 4th spot overall.

The NEPSSA DI Swimming Championships will take place this weekend at Phillips Exeter Academy. The preliminary trials will take place on Saturday, March 3rd and the swimming finals will be held on Sunday, March 4th. With the diving portion complete, the Deerfield girls swimming team enters championship weekend in 1st place with 33 points and the boys totaled 38 points at the diving championships to earn 2nd spot prior to the swimming championships taking place.

The girls enter the championship meet with a season record of 7-3 and earned 2nd place at last year’s New England Championship meet. The boys’ team also enters this weekend with a 7-3 record. They hope to carry their momentum from their recent 3-meet winning streak into this weekend’s championship races.
