Camden Kelleher ’17, a senior Tufts University men’s lacrosse player has been named to the USILA DIII Team of the Week.
As stated by Tufts Athletics, “Kelleher scored 11 goals with two assists in NESCAC victories for the Jumbos at Williams College last Wednesday (19-10) and against Connecticut College on Saturday (21-14). He tallied five goals and two assists at Williams, including four points in row (an assist and then three straight goals) that turned an 8-6 Jumbo lead into 12-6 at the half. He then scored a game-high six goals against the Camels, including two in the fourth quarter after Conn had pulled within 14-12 late in the third.”
So far this spring season, Kelleher has amassed 24 goals with 14 assistant for 38 points overall, and 17 goals with nine assists (26 points) in six conference contests. Currently, he is tied for 10th in NESCAC averaging 2.40 goals per game.
To date, the Jumbos and Kelleher are 8-2 overall and 5-1 in NESCAC for second place and are ranked #8 nationally.
