Boys Lacrosse Prevails in Fourth Quarter for Victory

On Wednesday, the boys varsity lacrosse team notched 5 unanswered goals in the fourth period to secure the home victory vs. Trinity-Pawling.

On a windy Wednesday, the Big Green and the Pride from Trinity-Pawling locked up in a tight game, trading goals for most of the afternoon with DA holding a 6-5 advantage after three quarters.

The fourth quarter saw a lockdown effort from Deerfield’s defense, led by Bryce Pang ’22 and Tripp Didden ’22, and a few caused turnovers led to transition opportunities for the home team and a 5-0 run to finish the game.

The defensive midfield for DA was critical in slowing down a very capable T-P midfield unit.  Tommy Augustine ’24, Felix Rockefeller ’23, Kieran Anzelone ’22 and Cole Van Meter ’22 were multiple goal scorers on the afternoon.

With Wednesday’s victory, the Doors improve their season record to 5-1.

The Big Green welcome powerhouse Taft to Jim Smith Field on Saturday, April 23 at 3:45 PM.

Go Big Green!
