Boys & Girls Squash Teams to Compete in 2018 Head U.S. High School Team Squash Championships

This weekend the boys and girls varsity squash teams will travel to Philadelphia, PA to compete in the 2018 Head U.S. High School Team Squash Championships. The boys will compete in the Justi Cup bracket and the girls will compete in the Patterson Cup bracket. Both brackets are the top tier brackets and include the top-16 teams in the country.

Boys I – Justi Cup Bracket (Click to enlarge)

The boys team will face-off against Episcopal in the Round 16 tomorrow, Friday, 2/2 at 8:00am. The winner of the first round match will play the winner of the match between Nobles and Gilman on Saturday, 2/3 at 8:00am. The team enters the national tournament with an 8-3-0 season record.

Girls I – Patterson Cup Bracket (Click to enlarge)

In the opening Round of 16, the girls will play Penn Charter on Friday, 2/2 at 2:00pm. The winner will face either Hotchkiss School or Agnes Irwin School in the quarterfinal match on Saturday, 2/3 at 10:00am. Last year, the team advanced to the semifinals before they fell to Baldwin in a close 1-match contest, 3-4. The team enters the National Championship weekend with an overall record of 8-1-0.
