Sam Morris graduated from Dartmouth College in 2014 with a major in English and a minor in Classical Languages. While at Dartmouth, Sam rowed for the lightweight crew, earning medals at the 2012 and 2013 Eastern Sprints and the 2012 IRA, captained his senior season and won the MVP award in 2014. After college, he began teaching English and Latin, and coaching cross country and novice rowing at the Hun School of Princeton before moving to Deerfield in 2016. Sam also guided wilderness canoe trips across northern Quebec in the summers of 2013-2017. A graduate of both the Milton Mountain School and Phillips Exeter Academy, Sam is thrilled to return to a New England prep school, and spends most of his free time running the trails on the Pocumtuck Ridge.
