Kristen joined Deerfield in 2009, after graduating from Bowdoin College with a degree in economics and mathematics. She was a four-year contributing member of the Bowdoin College field hockey team, which held a 74-5 record and won four consecutive NESCAC Championships. Moreover, Kristen and her teammates won Bowdoin’s first ever NCAA National Championship her junior year and she was a tri-captain of the team when they won it again her senior year. While playing for Bowdoin, Kristen earned All-NESCAC, All-Regional, and Academic All-American honors. A Concord, NH native, Kristen currently resides in Deerfield’s Johnson dormitory with her husband Tim, teaches math and economics, and coaches varsity field hockey.
