Rich joined the Deerfield faculty in 2007 as a member of the science department. Rich has taught at the Groton School, Aspen Country Day School, Hotchkiss School and in Santiago, Chile. He currently teaches first-year physics, AP Physics for juniors/seniors, astronomy and serves as the director of the Tanoto Planetarium. Rich coaches cycling and squash and lives in Poc Dorm with his wife Katie, a math teacher and field hockey coach, and their three children.
