Deerfield Athletics Trips

South Carolina

The Deerfield golf team is thrilled to announce our upcoming trip to Kiawah Island, South Carolina, one of the world’s most renowned golf destinations. During our stay, we will have the privilege of playing at two exceptional private facilities – The River Course and Cassique. These courses are renowned for their challenging layouts and top-notch practice amenities, which will allow us to sharpen our skills in preparation for the upcoming season. In addition to these courses, we will also have the opportunity to play The Ocean Course at Kiawah, a public course that is on every golfer’s must-play list! Throughout our stay, our team and coaches will be residing in close proximity to the courses, sharing meals and bonding as we gear up for the season ahead.

  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Tuesday, March 12 into the Charleston, SC Airport by 11:45am. 

     

2024 Preliminary Itinerary

Tuesday, March 12

  • Students arrive to South Carolina and connect with coaches then travel to team hotel
  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Tuesday, March 12 into the Charleston, SC Airport by 11:45am. 

Wednesday, March 13-16

  • Students will train and play rounds at The River Course. The group will reside for the week at a local hotel and enjoy team meals at local restaurants.

Sunday, March 17

  • The group will depart on a midday flight to Hartford, CT. This flight has been booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of your trip.
