Deerfield Athletics Trips

Alabama

Deerfield Golf will travel to the Grand National Golf Club, a 54-hole complex in Auburn, Alabama, that has hosted PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events as well as the men’s and women’s Division I NCAA championships. While there we will have a chance to practice at Grand National’s extensive practice facilities as well as play matches of up to 36 holes a day on Grand National’s two championship courses as well as on its highly regarded and recently renovated par 3 course. Golfers and coaches will stay a short drive from Grand National, eat dinners together in local restaurants, and otherwise enjoy each other’s company as we prepare for the season.

  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. Students should arrive on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 into the Atlanta Airport between 7:30am and 11:30am.

     

     

     

2023 Preliminary Itinerary

Tuesday, March 14

  • Students arrive to Atlanta and connect with coaches then travel to Auburn, AL
  • Students should arrive on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 into the Atlanta Airport between 7:30am and 11:30am.

Wednesday, March 15-18

  • Students will train and play rounds at Grand National. The group will reside for the week at a local hotel and enjoy team meals at local restaurants.

Sunday, March 19

  • Return to Atlanta and depart on a midday flight to Hartford, CT. This flight has been booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of your trip.
