Deerfield Athletics Trips

Florida

The Girls will be headed down to Florida to train at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. IMG provides a premier training experience in a picturesque setting. During the trip, athletes and coaches reside on-site and enjoy most of their meals at IMG’s expansive dining hall that is conveniently located on their training campus. IMG is an all-inclusive training venue, featuring several batting cages, an extensive fitness and weight-training center, and ample turf fields for practices and games.  The trip provides a great opportunity for team bonding, connection, and preparation for the season ahead. Our softball team also enjoys their time on the IMG campus, and truly makes the most of their week of training.

  • The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Tuesday, March 17 to the Tampa Airport before 1pm.

2026 Preliminary Itinerary

March 17

  • Students will arrive to Bradenton, FL and be greeted at the airport and escorted to the hotel.
  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. 
  • The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Tuesday, March 17 to the Tampa Airport before 1pm.

March 18-21

  • Students will enjoy daily practices and/or scrimmages and games against other teams. 

March 22

  • Depart Bradenton, FL on a midday flight to Hartford, CT. This flight is booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of your trip.
