Girls Softball

Deerfield Athletics Trips

South Carolina

The Girls will be headed down to Myrtle Beach this spring to train at the Cal Ripkin Experience Softball Facilities. The team will train from Wednesday evening through Saturday morning. There will be practices each day and scrimmages to help prepare for the season. The trip includes Oceanfront lodging and ample opportunities to head to the beach after training. The team will be able to check out the surrounding area and have evenings spent together in one another’s company. This is a great chance to both bond and get ready for the season ahead. Beginners are more than welcome to join.

Estimated trip cost: $2,000-2,500 (final costs will be available in the New Year)

March 19

  • Students will arrive to Myrtle Beach, SC and be greeted at the airport and escorted to the hotel. 
  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. 

March 19-22

  • Students will enjoy daily practices and/or scrimmages and games against other teams. 

March 23

  • Depart Myrtle Beach on a midday flight to Hartford, CT. This flight is booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of your trip.
