Deerfield Athletics Trips

Florida

The Deerfield Girls Lacrosse team will travel to Orlando, Florida to participate in the HoganLax training program this year. Training will take place primarily at the Boombah Sports Complex, and Deerfield will have the opportunity to play other prep schools as well as local teams in Florida.  Additionally, the trip fosters an important opportunity for shared experiences in advance of the official season.

Approx. Trip Cost (Includes one-way estimated flight from Orlando, FL to Hartford, CT)

Estimated trip cost: $2,200-2,700 (final costs will be available in the New Year)

  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Monday, March 11 into the Orlando International Airport by 1:00pm.

     

2024 Preliminary Itinerary

*This itinerary is subject to change.

March 11

  • Students will arrive to Orlando, FL and be greeted at the airport and escorted to the hotel. 
  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Monday, March 11 into the Orlando International Airport by 1:00pm.

March 12-16

  • Students will enjoy daily practices and/or scrimmages and games against Florida teams. 

March 17

  • Depart Orlando on a midday flight to Hartford, CT. This flight is booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of your trip.
