Deerfield Athletics Trips

The Boys Lacrosse team has traveled to various locations for their annual preseason trip, including IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in California.  

This year’s trip destination is planned to be in Florida and will follow a one of the previous trips taken, the final destination is still being confirmed.

The team will enjoy sunshine, premier training facilities, and superb competition. Players participate in two practices each day and leave plenty of time for shared experiences and leadership development.  After the week trip, the team returns to Deerfield with an increased sense of community and excitement for the upcoming season – historically one of the most challenging schedules in all of New England.

Approx. Trip Cost: $3000 (Includes one-way estimated flight from FlORIDA to Hartford, CT OR BOSTON, MA)

  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. 
  • The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Monday, March 16 to the Fort Lauderdale Airport between 1-3pm.

2026 Preliminary Itinerary

March 16

  • Students will arrive to Florida and be shuttled to their hotel by coaches. 
  • The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Monday, March 16 to the Fort Lauderdale Airport between 1-3pm.
  • Arrival flight cost and booking is the responsibility of the participating student and their family. 
  • The group will move-in to the hotel and have a team meeting prior to their first team practice

March 17-21

  • Daily practices and scrimmages
  • Student will enjoy meals from different restaurants in the area.
 
March 22
  • Depart from Florida on mid-morning flight to Hartford, CT or Boston, MA. This flight has been booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of the trip.
