Florida
Deerfield Baseball travels to Florida to train at IMG Academy in Bradenton each March. IMG provides a premier training experience in a picturesque setting. Athletes and coaches reside on-site and enjoy most of their meals in IMG’s expansive dining hall, which is incredibly convenient. IMG is an all-inclusive training venue, featuring several batting cages, an extensive fitness and weight-training center, and ample turf fields for practices and games. Our baseball team enjoys their time on the IMG campus, and truly makes the most of their week of training.

2026 Preliminary Itinerary

March 15
- Students will arrive to Tampa, FL and be shuttled to the IMG campus by coaches.
- Families are responsible for booking and the cost of their student’s arrival flight into Tampa.
- The coaches request that accepted students arrive on Sunday, March 15 to the Tampa Airport before 1pm.
- Move-in to IMG living quarters before team dinner and first team meeting.
March 16-21
- Daily practices and games
- Students will eat at the IMG campus dining hall
- The group may potentially attend a spring training game
March 22
- Depart Tampa on mid-morning flight in Hartford, CT. This flight has been booked by Deerfield and is included in the cost of your trip
