CSGC 2026 Trip Leader Summer Planning Form

CSGC 2026 Travel Programs: Trip Leader Summer Planning

The summer planning process is an opportunity for Trip Leaders to reflect on why Deerfield students should participate in their proposed trip (Learning Goals), and to outline what students will do and how those goals will be met (Trip Itinerary). The Summer Planning Form will guide your summer work and provide our office with essential information to begin early educational and risk management assessments. Please complete this Form by Monday, July 7th. Additionally, the information you share now will help us prepare marketing materials and set up key logistics before the school year begins, making the start of the semester much smoother and less demanding for everyone involved. Throughout the summer, the CSGC team will follow up with clarifying questions and offer support with tasks such as contacting vendors, drafting agreements, and finalizing itineraries. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions about the form or planning process. Thank you! The CSGC Team

For some trips, there are trip specific criteria for selecting students (e.g. language level, demonstrated commitment to service, previous academic coursework...)
