This afternoon, the Washington, D.C.: Stories to Learn; Stories to be Told program departed campus! For the next couple of days, 24 students and three faculty trip leaders, will travel through D.C. Throughout their journey, students will experience democracy and civic life in action. They will have the opportunity to see the most popular sites in the capital while engaging in topics of debate, advocacy, and the role of museums, non-profit organizations, and government.
We look forward to reading their upcoming reflections blog posts on Deerfield’s Notes from the Field!
