Today we embarked on our journey to Chicago with 14 fellow comrades.
Starting with an exciting yet long train ride (with many card games, interesting movies, and slumber parties), we arrived in New York City. We dined at Penn Station and learned more about the details of our trip.
We mingled with the Washington D.C. folks, we talked about future plans and thoughts of our trip. The topic of immigration can be very intimate for some, and it is definitely not a light subject. We are excited to learn more, while cautious about how it may prompt us to feel.
