Big Brothers and Big Sisters

The Big Brothers Big Sisters program connects juniors and seniors at Deerfield Academy with children in Franklin County who want to have an older boy or girl as a role model. In a typical year, the Bigs and Littles meet from 6:00-8:00 pm most Friday evenings and spend their time together on campus playing tag, basketball, hide-and-go-seek, board games, and much more.

In response to the continuing pandemic, BBBS will be operating virtually through December 2021, at which time we will evaluate the possibility of a return to on-campus programming. In the meantime, Bigs and Littles meet virtually from 6:30 – 7:15 pm on Zoom on Friday evenings to play games on the whiteboard, have dance parties, watch videos, talk and more.  The Bigs then stay online from 7:15 – 7:30 pm for a debrief session with the Program Coordinator.
