For New Alliances: Every Alliance needs at least one, or preferably two, faculty advisors to provide support, participate in the selection of Alliance Leaders and approve all public presentations, sponsored events and printed materials. Deerfield Student Alliances are special interest groups devoted to providing a safe space for their members in our community as well as opportunities for student awareness, dialogue, advocacy, and action. Briefly describe an issue you would like to see this Alliance address in the coming year. (Please limit your response to 200 words)*
For New Alliances: Please articulate which identity your Alliance would represent and specific ways that you see that population as being unable to be properly supported by the Alliances that are currently in place on campus. (Please limit your response to 500 words)
Alliances are under the purview of the Office of Inclusion and Community Life, and actively support and participate in the Office’s mission to encourage acceptance and build an inclusive and culturally competent community.
