We are excited to offer a robust slate of offerings for students to have high-impact opportunities outside of the traditional classroom to develop the skills and attributes of the Deerfield Student , engage with diverse and divergent viewpoints, and live out Deerfield’s core values in new contexts. We often have more proposals than we have slots for trips in the slate, and we work hard to ensure that the opportunities available for each year represent a range of geographies, curricular themes, cultural contexts, and activities. All faculty who submit proposals will be contacted for a face-to-face follow up conversation to talk more about the proposal and consider ways to develop the idea for future years if it won’t work out for the upcoming school year.
