Varsity Teams Go Undefeated in 2017 Openers

Deerfield varsity teams went 4-0 yesterday to start 2017 undefeated. The girls varsity basketball team got a road win at Ethel Walker by a score of 57-50. At home, the boys varsity basketball team defeated an athletic Pomfret team, 68-55. On the ice, the boys varsity hockey team skated to a 6-3 victory over Pomfret with goals coming from 5 different players. To close out the Wednesday sweep, the girls varsity hockey team defeated the New England Falcons, a local club hockey team, by a score of 3-1. A great start to 2017!
