Squash Sweeps Choate

 

Choate Day came in February for Deerfield’s squash teams as both varsity teams hosted Choate and the JV teams traveled to Choate yesterday for their matches. The Big Green were victorious across the board as all 4 teams defeated their Choate opponents.

The girls and boys varsity teams held home court advantage over their Wallingford foe. The girls earned a 7-0 win and the boys earned a 6-1 win.

On the road, the results came down to the final matches with both the boys and girls JV teams earning 4-3 wins in Wallingford, CT. These wins closed out the seasons for each of the JV teams.

This weekend the girls varsity team will host the Class A New England Squash Championship where they will look to build on their 3rd place National Tournament finish and challenge for the title. The boys will travel north to St. Paul’s School to compete for the Class A New England Squash title.
