On senior day, the Big Green were energized on a beautiful fall day in the Pioneer Valley. Led by senior scoring, the Doors earned a 4-0 win over visiting Wilbraham and Monson Academy.
After controlling the possession in the opening ten minutes of play, Sammie McKee ’24 played the ball wide to Mary Lee ’23 on the flank who connected a through ball to Kaelin Creagh ’24. Kaelin drove end line and fired a shot at the goalkeeper who gave up a rebound that Eve Andon ’23 buried into the back of the net to open the game’s scoring.
Big Green seniors continued to lead the score sheet. Next up, Fife McCargo ’23 registered the team’s second goal of the game after winning a ball and shooting from range; sailing the ball out of the reach of the goalkeeper.
At halftime, the Big Green held a 2-0 advantage over the visitors.
Eve continued her scoring touch in the second half when she headed a driven cross from Kaelin into the back of the net.
The senior scoring was capped off when Eve completed her senior day hat-trick by finishing another cross from Kaelin in the second half and propelled the Big Green to a 4-0 lead.
Ellie Schiller ’25 and Abigail Ng ’25 earned the shut out in goal. A great defensive effort by Avery Izzo ’24, Mia Goetzke ’24, Keira Austen ’25 and Sam Olander ’23 in the back line.

The Big Green will close out their season this Saturday, November 12 when they travel to rival Choate Rosemary Hall for a 1:30pm kick-off.
