Girls Track 4×400 Finishes 4th at Penn Relays

The girls track team finished 4th yesterday at the Penn Relays in the independent schools 4x400m event with a time of 4:17:32. Helen Downes ran in the lead position and finished her lap of the track in 1:08:99, she was followed by Felicia Renelus with a time of 1:02:84. Victoria Patterson ran the 3^rd 400m in a time of 1:03:57 and Lily Louis was the anchor for the foursome and clocked in at 1:01:93.

St. Catharine’s (Richmond, VA) won the race and set a new event record with a time of 3:55:66 and HCZ Promise (New York, NY) finished 2^nd in 4:06:86. Loomis Chaffee slightly edged the Big Green for 3^rd place with a time of 4:15:81.

A great experience and performance for the team as they approach the mid-way point in their season!
