Girls Rowing WINS B Final at the US Rowing National Championship

The girls boat won the B Final at the US Rowing National Youth Championship yesterday with a time of 7:15.406!

In the opening time trial the girls finished in 3rd place among a field of 18 boats. With 3rd place finish the team advanced to the semifinals. In a photo finish race the girls were edged at the finish line in their semifinal heat to finish in 4th place, finishing less than a second out of qualification for the A Final. The girls took charge of the B Final and led the race from start to finish to earn first place and the title of 7th fastest Women’s Youth 4+ boat in the country!

Saturday, May 27th – New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Championships

1st varsity boat claimed gold and earned bid to the National Youth Championship

Friday, June 9th – US Rowing Youth National Championship

Placed 3rd in the time trial to advance to the semifinal & edged at the finish line to finish in 4th place and advanced to the B Final

Sunday, June 11th – US Rowing Youth National Championship

Finished 1st place in the B Final! 7th fastest women’s youth 4+ boat in the country!
