Girls Lacrosse Upends Choate

Deerfield girls varsity lacrosse scored early and often to upend visiting rival Choate Rosemary Hall, 21-11 in Saturday’s contest.

Several members of the Big Green’s attack contributed to the score sheet, registering 16 goals in the first half and adding another five goals in the second half to secure the victory. The Big Green defense stifled the Wild Boar attacks; keeping them to only single digit goals in both halves.

To date this season, the Green and White have registered 54 goals, averaging 13.5 goals per game, while only conceding 38 goals.

Saturday’s win extends the Big Green winning streak to three games and improves their early season record to 3-1.

Up next, the Big Green will travel to neighboring NMH tomorrow to face-off against the Hoggers at 2:30pm. Good luck!

Go Big Green!
