On Wednesday, varsity field hockey team put together a great team win against Worcester, 6-0.
Caitlyn Lodge ’24 got the Big Green on the board in the first quarter on a great deflection off a Sage Piekarski ’23 shot.
Piekarski and Lauren Loh ’24 (assisted by Kate MacKenzie ’24) each added another goal in the second quarter.
Mary O’Shea ’25 and Haley Abraham ’25 anchored the defense, while Katie Bruno ’24, Viv Monopoli ’26, Julia Tamul ’25, and Peyton Wierl ’26 were instrumental in the team’s offense and midfield.
In the second half, Piekarski added two more goals and Lodge netted another one as well, leading the team to a 6-0 win.
Lauren Smith ’24 earned the shutout in net.
With Wednesday’s victory, the Big Green improve their record to 8-3. They will travel to Andover this Friday, October 28 for 6:00pm game vs. the Big Blue.
