Deerfield Celebrates 100 Years of Hockey

This past weekend marked the once-in-a-lifetime centennial celebration of Deerfield’s hockey program. Alumni gathered to celebrate a weekend of family-friendly fun and nostalgia. Starting on Friday, the girls and boys varsity teams competed against NMH and Pomfret. The celebration continued into Saturday with alumni games, meet-and-greet with current players, an all-star alumni panel, and family skates. The Big Green played in two more games on Saturday, with the girls against Andover and the boys taking on Hotchkiss in an electric 2-1 victory.
