On Wednesday, Deerfield teams celebrated posting an overall 8-2-1 record over their opponents.
The varsity and JV volleyball teams each earned 3-0 victories over visiting Williston. With the victory, the varsity volleyball team extend their winning streak to three games and improve their overall season record to 7-1-0.
On the Rowland Turf and Fair Family Turf field, the varsity and JV field hockey teams hosted NMH in the Wednesday match up and they each emerged with a win. The varsity and JV field hockey teams each shutout the Hoggers to win 5-0 and 3-0 respectively. The varsity team improves to 5-1.
On the lower levels, we had five soccer teams in action. Additionally, the boys Jr. A and Jr. B soccer teams traveled to NMH and Eagle Hill School respectively. Overall, the Big Green soccer teams posted a 4-2-1 record on the day.
The girls varsity soccer team emerged with 5-1 victory over Williston and the girls JV soccer team shutout Williston in their 4-0 win. The boys varsity soccer team tied Berkshire 1-1 and the boys Jr. A and Jr. B each earned away game victories. The boys JV soccer team played a great game and fell to Berkshire 0-1 and also in the South Division the girls thirds soccer team fell to neighboring Bement.
The Big Green will return to action this Friday, October 4 when the football team travels to Cheshire and at home on Saturday, October 5 with friends and families cheering them as the Big Green host Fall Family weekend.
