Deerfield Girls Hockey made the trip to St. Paul’s on Wednesday afternoon, and came away with a 4-1 win. Chloe Cleaves ’26 got the scoring started with a nice shot from the point off of assists from Gia Thompson ’26 and Erin Dunne ’28. Amelia Healey ’27 doubled our lead in the second, finishing off a play in front from Ava Giroux ’26 and Peyton Wierl ’26. Then, Olivia Austen ’27 tipped in a beautiful pass from her sister Keira ’26 (another assist to Dunne). SPS got a goal back, but Sophie Frost ’26 scored in the empty net to ice the game. Izzy Kirby ’26 was fantastic in goal, especially in the first period, and was the well-deserved hard hat recipient. Many thanks to the Thompson/Corrieri families for the delicious dinner boxes!
