Deerfield VFH took on Berkshire on a warm Saturday afternoon at DA. After a scoreless first quarter and some great saves by Izzy Kirby ’26, Chloe Cleaves ’26 (unassisted) and Lilly Oliver ’26 (from Peyton Wierl ’26) put the big green on the board in the second quarter. Deerfield capitalized again at the start of the third quarter on another goal from Oliver (assist from Wierl) and the game finished with a 3-0 win for Deerfield. Loulla Rousou ’25, Mary O’Shea ’25, Eloise Hochberg ’27, Haley Abraham ’25, Erin Dunne ’28, and Lalwani Surpitski ’26 played strong defensively. Up next: Deerfield will host Pomfret at home on Wednesday. Go Big Green!
