The Deerfield boys JV tennis team (4-6) won 2 matches in a row for the first time this season, besting Loomis on the road on a hot spring afternoon that threatened rain throughout the match. The matches were all played in an 8-game, pro-set format with ads. Doubles, worth one point total, were played first while a couple of the singles matches also started at the same time. Deerfield won two out of the three doubles matches to lock up that point, and the first two singles matches were split, giving Deerfield a 2-1 advantage as the last four singles matches began. Fortunately, Deerfield won three of those four matches to win the overall match 5-2.
