Wednesday, May 1st, Deerfield traveled to Connecticut to take on Loomis for a highly anticipated matchup. Deerfield came out strong in the first quarter, capitalizing with a point to the score on almost every possession. The defense played strong, creating multiple turnovers in the eight-meter area during the first half. During the second half, Deerfield continued to dominate the possession game by winning the draw and coming up with 50/50 ground balls. End of the game the whole bench was able to get into the game and make an impact, and ultimately Deerfield outscored Loomis 15-7. Overall the game was a strong result for DA where the team worked cohesively throughout all four quarters. Next up Deerfield plays Hotchkiss at home on Saturday.
